Today, I received a very startling wake up call. My aunty from Thailand has just passed away in the very early morning. She had been suffering from Breast Cancer during the early part of last year. After going through Chemo-therapy, she was said to have recovered.
The tricky part of Cancer is that you don't know what are the long and short term effects of the treatment. This is my second encounter of someone I know who died as a cause of cancer in a matter of 3 months.
We should all cherish the moments we have with our loved ones. We just don't know when we will be called back to be with God.
As I know, my aunty didn't suffer much in the last moments of her life. Most probably due to the high doses of Morphine the doctors had administered on her.
When's the funeral? I'm still waiting to find out.
